Resolution without Litigation, Inc.

A successful agreement is built on developing the big picture of what the parties want to accomplish together.  The RWL facilitator will help the parties build this big picture.

With the big picture established, the role each party will play in the relationship is defined.  Each party makes specific promises for carrying out the agreement.  Each party’s interest is carefully provided for in the agreement.

Time limits for accomplishing the goals of the agreement are spelled out.  Clear, measurable milestones are agreed upon so each party knows when each has achieved his/her objectives and commitments.

Unspoken concerns and fears are identified and addressed to avoid as many future conflicts as possible.  It is also important to understand and agree on the consequences for those who break a promise and to understand and agree on the consequences for all parties if the agreement fails.

Future conflicts can be resolved in the same way the initial conflict was resolved.

With the new agreement written out and signed, it is time to celebrate and move forward with the execution of the new agreement.
